The SIA Licensing Process Explained
STAGE 1 - Enquiry: You receive booking confirmation of booking and joining instructions for course
STAGE 2 - Course Attendances: You attend the course and sit an exam
STAGE 3 - Licence Application: you receive a licence application with guidance on how to complete it.
STAGE 4 - Application Submission: You complete the licence application and submit it with correct documents and fee
STAGE 5 - Confirmation: SIA scans your documents and sends those back to you within 10 working days
STAGE 6 - Licence processing: SIA carries out checks, i.e. right to work, qualification etc
STAGE 7 - Decision: Upon completion of all checks SIA grants you the licence.
