Local Construction Focus
The Aberdeen Construction Scene
Aberdeen's construction sector remains robust, heavily influenced by the energy sector transition, ongoing harbour expansion projects, and commercial redevelopments in the city centre. With a high standard of health and safety naturally ingrained from the offshore industry, local contractors are incredibly strict about site compliance. Holding a valid CSCS Green Card is the absolute baseline requirement before you can step foot on any commercial or residential site in the Granite City.
"Very convenient being able to do the whole course and exam from my flat in Aberdeen. Passed first time and got on site the next week."

Here is the exact step-by-step process to getting fully qualified and allowed on site.
Complete the Level 1 Health & Safety Course

Once you have passed both the Level 1 Course and the Pearson CITB test, you can submit your application for the Green Labourer Card directly with CSCS.
