Local Construction Focus
The East Kilbride Construction Scene
As Scotland's first new town, East Kilbride is currently seeing a wave of modernization, including retail park upgrades, new housing developments on the outskirts, and local authority infrastructure projects. Being so close to Glasgow, many local construction workers also commute into the city, but there is plenty of local work available. Whether you are working locally in East Kilbride or commuting, holding a valid CSCS Green Card is a mandatory requirement for all site labourers.
"Brilliant setup. Saved me the hassle of travelling into Glasgow for a classroom course. The remote exam was easy to set up."

Here is the exact step-by-step process to getting fully qualified and allowed on site.
Complete the Level 1 Health & Safety Course
We've got this covered! Complete our Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment through our e-learning platform. You can then take your remote-invigilated exam from the comfort of your own home, or visit our local test centre in Glasgow to take it in person.

Once you have passed both the Level 1 Course and the Pearson CITB test, you can submit your application for the Green Labourer Card directly with CSCS.
