WHAT DOES THIS COURSE COVER?

The key areas covered in this qualification are:

  1. Understand roles and duties for health and safety in the workplace
  2. Understand the process of risk assessment
  3. Understand how risk assessments improve health and safety at work
  4. Know the procedures for responding to accidents, near misses and ill-health in the workplace

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

It is advised that candidates have a level of literacy and English that enables them to communicate effectively. This is usually established during initial assessment. To register for this qualification, learners are required to be 14 years of age or above.

DURATION

Our level 2 award in health and safety within the workplace is now delivered online. This e-learning course guides you through the qualification at your own pace, giving you the option to study from home or your place of work. This fully interactive programme is easy to use and voiced over to help aid your online learning experience.

ASSESSMENT

Upon completion of your online course, the candidates book and attend 45 minutes multiple-choice examination. All learners must achieve at least 12 correct answers out of 20 to pass. Results are available usually within seven working days.
